Hunter Boots has also moved from being a Scottish company with a predominantly British clientele to being a truly global brand with a range of products which reveals the proud heritage of the company while also reflecting modern trends in style and fashion.
Hunter take great pride in delivering top quality product and service to customers and markets around the world and a programme of continuous improvement ensures that we do not rest on their laurels. Ownership and Care
Outstanding In Every Field
Hunter take a long time to make your boots, and in their experience there is no other way to make the kind of boot that they would be happy to put the"Hunter" name to - and you just can't rush perfection. Hunter want you to enjoy your boots and for them to last. So please be kind to them and follow the simple guidelines below to ensure they are loved and cared for!
HUNTER BOOTS MAINTENANCE
Wipe and dry naturally after use. Only use lukewarm, soapy water. Never use solvents to clean. Store in a cool, dry, dark location away from sources of ozone and never store boots whilst damp. Avoid storage near sources of artificial heat or direct sunlight. Do not store folded or creased. In hot or humid weather, white marks may appear on the boots. This is not a defect but a release of protective wax that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. For boots with zippers, zipper teeth should be kept clean and free of dirt.
When purchasing your Hunter boots, consider Hunter UV Tech Cleaner* to maintain the ‘like new' look of your Hunter Rubber Boots and help to preserve flexibility and colour by providing essential plasticising oils lost by the degrading effects of the sun. Click here to buy Hunter UV Tech* online now.
* UV Tech is not suitable for use on Regent or Gloss boots. Please use a soft cloth to remove any white marks that may appear.
WARNING
There is a greater risk of slipping with increased sole wear. Exposure to solvents, oils and animal fats can swell the rubber and increase the risk of slipping. Hunter boots contain natural rubber latex, which some people may be allergic to.
Hunter Questions & Answers
Outstanding In Every Field
Q.Why have white marks have appeared on my Hunter boots?
A. Occasionally, it is possible that white marks will appear on your Hunter wellington boots. This is a phenomenon called 'blooming' and is your boots attempting to protect themselves from environmental damage.
Every Hunter wellington boot is made from 100% natural ingredients and small amounts of wax are included in the rubber compound during the vulcanisation process that is used to make each pair. When exposed to certain environmental factors, this wax can "bloom" to the surface and appear as white or blue marks.
This is not a defect with the boots, and is completely natural. If this does happen, you can wipe this blooming clean with a warm, damp cloth. Also, Hunter recommend Hunter UV Tech* to maintain the ‘like new' look of your Hunter Rubber Boots and help to preserve flexibility and colour by providing essential plasticising oils lost by the degrading effects of the sun.
* UV Tech is not suitable for use on Regent or Gloss boots.
Please use a soft cloth to remove any white marks that may appear.

Q. Do I need to order a size bigger than I take in a shoe?
A. No, we recommend that you purchase the same size as you take in a shoe as they do allow for wearing thicker socks.

Product Range: Original Colours - Posted by Clare from Gloucestershire
I love my fabulous Hunter wellies! Living in rural Gloucestershire I wanted something a little different from the usual green/blue hunters that you see around and my fushcia pair do the job brilliantly! I also invested in a great pair of black wellie socks and the carrying bag . . . . both were a great buy! I have now bought my 2 year old daughter her first pair in Iris with a pair of black wellie socks as well - she adores them too!
